Gurmej is an accomplished speaker and has spoken and presented on TV, Radio as well as to live audiences. He has presented on The BBC, Channel 4 and some international TV stations.
Beginnings.
He is also the CEO of an events company called Meji Media. Starting as a passion for organising student parties whilst completing a Masters in Economics at the University of Nottingham, Gurmej has gone on to curate a successful career in the events world and founding an award winning company.
Gurmej is passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion especially in the sports industry.. He has spoken on the topic at various conferences and to the media including the BBC and Sky Sports.
Growth.
He recently founded the Hockey All In Movement and the UK’s largest Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Summit, called Include www.includesummit.com which has a goal to get 1 million underprivileged and underrepresented young people into sport and physical activity.
In his spare time Gurmej is the chairman of Barford Tigers Hockey Club, and loves to keep fit and does Crossfit and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He enjoys challenging himself for charity, having taken part in the London and New York marathons as well as climbing Mt.Kilimanjaro.
